This means you get reliable message delivery, support for template messages, rich media sharing (images, videos, documents), and full compliance with WhatsApp's policies. You'll need to set up a Facebook Developer account and WhatsApp Business API credentials to get started.
Journeys are for manual customer lifecycle tracking. You define stages (e.g., New Lead, Interested, Converted), and agents manually move contacts between stages. When a contact enters a stage, a connected WhatsApp template is sent automatically.
Flowmaker is for automated conversation responses. It's a visual drag-and-drop builder that triggers actions based on incoming messages or keywords — like sending replies, asking questions, saving inputs, or assigning agents. Flowmaker runs automatically; Journeys require human control.
Plans with Meta Inbox include Instagram DMs, Facebook Messenger, and comment replies in the same unified inbox where you handle WhatsApp chats. When you choose a plan with Meta Inbox, you get expanded channel coverage — all your plan features remain the same, you just get more channels to communicate through. Currently, Reminders are hardcoded to WhatsApp only. At the scheduled date and time, a WhatsApp API template message is generated and sent via the Facebook Graph API. Email and SMS inboxes are available for communication, but they don't have scheduled reminder functionality at this time.
